Many of you might not have heard about Oppo, It is a Chinese cell phone manufacturing company that has revolutionized the market with it’s products. With the launch of Oppo find 5 few months ago, it drew the attention of the media and now it has launched it’s flagship device Oppo N1. That’s not all the popular firm CyanogenMod which is well known for providing aftermarket firmware distribution has added support to it, which means in future the device may come with CyanogenMod pre-installed on it.
On 23rd Sept. at Beijing, in an event the company launched it next flagship device Oppo N1. The device has everything that makes it stand against it’s competitors like the HTC One, Samsung Galaxy S4, LG G2 and even the Samsung Galaxy Note 3
A 5.9 inch with 1080p IPS display,1.7Ghz quad core cpu, 13 MP swivel camera, rear touch sensor and CyanogenMod installation is also provided to this phablet.
In addition to ColorOS, Oppo’s also bringing CyanogenMod on board, making the N1 the first collaboration product since the formation of Cyanogen Inc. (its founder and CTO Steve Kondick was at the event). This ROM will be available later for the N1, but there’ll also be a special edition of the device that will come with CyanogenMod pre-installed – the first such product in the world.
N1 is the first Android smartphone to use six physical lenses, giving you a clearer image while eliminating any distortion. The latest generation stacked CMOS sensor, upgraded type 1/3.06 imaging module and f/2.0 wide aperture lets more light in, so you can take great photos even in dark environments.
The other two features that set the Oppo N1 apart from the competition are its rotating camera and rear O-Touch Panel. Rather than equipping the N1 with a front and rear facing camera, Oppo has introduced the first Android phone with a camera that can rotate to take images from multiple angles. Why have a 2 megapixel front-facing camera when you can have a 13 megapixel rotating camera with a dedicated LED flash for softer light to capture. The O-Touch Panel is a 12 square centimeter touch panel built into the back cover of the Oppo N1, giving users the ability to scroll through email, websites or contact lists, tap to select on-screen items and even trigger the camera’s shutter button without the need to touch the phone’s display
