After the launch of the new iPhone it’s time for some bigger device and that is the iPad. Earlier it was rumored that Apple’s next generation iPad Mini 2 is going to have Gold color option but now it looks like it is going to be. With the launch of iPhone 5S with new color option iPad Mini 2 can feature Gold color option along with other colors like Space Gray and the original Silver color.

iPad Mini 2 is the successor of Apple’s successful iPad Mini along with upgraded specifications. This time iPad mini is going to have a better hardware like the 64-bit chip as well as a high resolution screen also the newly launched version iOS 7.

Previously we have heard reports that Apple was looking at implementing the Sapphire Glass Home button design on its forthcoming tablets, a rumor which was believed to indicate the TouchID scanner would also make the jump to the slates. Due to the delicate nature of the scanner it’s thought the Sapphire Glass offers better protection than the older plastic button style.

There have also been reports about the iPad Mini 2 camera which will now apparently feature an 8MP sensor.

the mini screens at first, so a Retina-like display could have caused additional production headaches.

Would a retina display iPad mini 2 also push the price upwards? There may also be retina and non-retina variants to keep the basic price low, which would satisfy a number of consumers while still maintaining the Apple tradition of keeping all its products shiny and new.
